MOVIE REVIEW - TALKING HEADS: STOP MAKING SENSE A24

One of my favorite things to do is to watch movies by myself. I love just being in my space and immersing myself into a film without having to explain anything. One of my favorite bands are the Talking Heads and A24 released this amazing concert.

For the 40th anniversary of the groundbreaking concert film from one of my favorite bands Talking Heads, A24 did a reissue of the film Stop Making Sense. The film starts off with David Byrne with his acoustic guitar playing an early hit “Psycho Killer”. From there, it’s a nonstop barrage of incredible music, and high energy performances from Byrne and the full ensemble.

My favorite performances from film was “This Must be the Place” and iconic “Girlfriend is Better” when David Byrne performs in his iconic Big Suit.

A24 is one of my favorite film production companies, and this film was a present surprise. Seeing this film remastered and in high definition  was an experience. Due to the limited release, it’s a “Once in a Lifetime” (shameless song reference) and don’t wait to see it!.
