HOW TO JOURNAL

The act of writing has to be one of the most powerful; mentally focusing; calming; and an act that produces more of what you are sincerely Grateful for.

“Writing is a very strong point of focus. In fact, it is your strongest point of focus”…Abraham Hicks

Journaling, from a perspective of Gratitude, wherein you list several things a day that you are Grateful for, this is referred to as positive journaling. And you will see all things that you listed, that you are Grateful for – grow.

“Whatever you give your attention to grows”  Ernest Holmes

What you are doing is looking at a situation and taking only the positive from a situation, and not writing (focusing) on the negative.

One part that I love is shopping for my Journal. I get excited when I connect with a Journal that is beautiful, it simply inspires me to write. My goal is to make daily entries, I list anywhere from three, five, or seven things that I am Grateful for.

This can be me mentally going through my day, my interactions with people, events, and situations. Looking at each, rethinking on those things, and then writing what I am Grateful for in each of those areas. Your Journal entry can begin with….” I am Grateful for…”

In doing this it helps for you to be as specific and descriptive of the situation – and write that in your Journal.

This act of being reflective, descriptive about what it is that you are Grateful for is what magically centers, and calms you. Journaling leaves me with such a sense of Calm and Joy.

Try it, and see and feel the difference.
