TAKING CARE OF YOU (POST COVID-19)

I know that every experience teaches us lessons. COVID19 taught us all the importance of our health; the need to take care of ourselves.

By health I mean our complete well-being, the whole person. Our Mind,Body, &Spirit.

All of this is at its optimum (health) when we feel good. The shift comes when we love ourselves enough to eat the best that you can, that’s simply the least we can do for ourselves. It effects how we feel immediately after we have finished eating. So always ask - how does this food make me feel.

It’s not about your choice of what you eat, it is to eat the very best of what you choose to eat. Diets do not work. When we make the right food choices for us - that is when we see a change in our health.

Being physical everyday helps out mental health as well as our physical health.

Moving and being physical is different for everyone. It can be daily walks in nature, walks on a treadmill, yoga, pilates - anything that gets you to break a sweat everyday.

You will be amazed at the shift that happens in your mind. Make that promise to you to just move everyday.

Daily movement can improve your blood circulation, lower blood pressure, and reduce inflammation in our bodies. This is just some of the benefits you will see. It is literally the very best feeling.

Remember to take moments to consciously Breathe. When we sit and consciously become aware of the inhalation of your breath, and the exhalation of your breath - we will feel such a shift, a change in our entire body.

Some of the benefits of conscious Breathing are increase oxygen flow, slower heart rate, lower blood pressure, and improve concentration.
