Peach Cobbler Recipe

Take two large cans of peaches in syrup and put it in a sauce man. Once it heats up put in a teaspoon of cinnamon, teaspoon of nutmeg, and two tablespoons of sugar into it, as well as juice of half or a whole lemon.

Once it reaches a boil let it simmer so it thickens, but not too long that the peaches start to break down. Once it reaches the desired consistency make the batter for the cobbler. In a bowl out 1 cup of all purpose flour, 1 cup of sugar, dash of salt, and a 1 cup of milk, and 1 tablespoon of baking powder. and stir until it’s a thick batter

Preheat the oven to 350, and melt 1 stick butter into the pan that you will be using. Once it is melted put two table spoons into the batter and stir. In the melted  butter put in the spiced peaches. On top of the peaches pour the batter. Also sprinkle some sugar on top to help with the color. Do not worry if it doesn’t cover all the peaches, peaches can poke out and cause sectioning in the crust like a “cobbled street” (hence the name peach cobbler)

Put the cobbler into the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes at 350. Once it’s is done let us sit for 15-30 minutes. Serve with some vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
