XIMENA CORDOBA- MODEL, ACTRESS, & HOST
I had the immense pleasure to interview the effervescent Ximena Cordoba. This dynamic triple-threat allowed us to pick her brain and figure out what makes the Ximena Cordoba.
How would you introduce yourself to people who are unaware of you?
I would tell people that I am known for being an Actress and TV Host! My whole career started on a reality show in Colombia called Protagonistas de Novela. A few years later I came to the U.S, and started working for Univision, and then was a protagonist for a Novela (Soap Opera) called “En Tierras Salvajes”. Now, I am currently hosting four TV Shows: Mas Noche, Cuentamelo Ya Al Fin, Aqui Contigo, and Noticias Internacionales.
Congrats on your new movie “Hubie Halloween” with Adam Sandler! Please describe your character and the process of working with such comedic legends like Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and Maya Rudolph.
Thank you so much! Honestly even though it was a small part, it was an honor me to work with such comedic actors! I still can’t believe it! I played the Weather Girl in Hubie Halloween, and it was so much fun to film in Boston with Adam Sandler as my director. I’ve watched Adam Sandlers movies for as long as I can remember, it was such a great experience for me. I hope to work with him again soon!
You are also the host of “Más Noche” please describe this program and what do you enjoy most about hosting?
Mas Noche is a Saturday Night show currently airing on Televisa/Univision and Canal de Las Estrellas. We interview celebrities, and play some crazy games! I love hosting Mas Noche because it’s honestly so much fun and the perfect show to watch on the weekend. It will definitely make you laugh.
What is your first passion: modeling, acting or hosting? And why?
If I have to put it in order, I would probably say hosting! I am able to show who I am, and my personality. I have had the pleasure of hosting on TV for so many years and it’s been such a great experience for me. As a host, I have had the pleasure to meet a lot of great celebrities like Shaquille O’Neal, Will Smith, JLo, Ricky Martin, Keanu Reeves, and so many more! Acting is also a huge passion of mine, as I mentioned earlier I’ve acted in a few Novelas, and of course, recently in Hubie Halloween. I would love to continue to act!
What drives you?
I would say my Fans, my Faith and my Family drives me to continue in my work!
What is your most treasured possession and why?
I have a few treasured possessions including a few awards that I have won throughout the years. The one that stands out to me the most, is a napkin with a quote that a man gave me to me when I was on a plane for the first time. I had just won the reality show and was traveling to work in the city. The man next to me saw how excited I was and gave me a napkin that says “fight for your dreams because the universe will help you reach them.” In that moment I was so inspired, and so ambitious, I thought it was something so amazing!

How do you stay in shape and balanced?
I exercise at least 3 times per week, and try to eat as healthy as possible! But, don’t get me wrong. I will gladly eat a bunch of tacos or a Colombian plate in a heartbeat haha.
The last and most fun question! what is your favorite way to pamper yourself and get a boost?
My favorite way to pamper myself is to stay at home and relax. I love to watch a good movie, do my nails and a few face masks
