STYLE SPOTLIGHT: PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR 2024

If you know me then you know I love fashion! Not in the way a lot of people think. I’m all about ‘Timeless Uniform Dressing’ but with a pop of color and panache, I’m a Latina after all. I always look to Pantone’s Color of the year to figure out how I can add a touch of color into my style and wardrobe NOT change my wardrobe for the color of the year. Read on to find out why!

I know that I have mentioned it once before … but it is worth repeating. Knowing Yhorself is the best luxury and freedom you can have. It truly helps with regards to yhor wallet as well. What I mean is that when you know yhorself yhor not swayed into buying EVERYTHING ‘in season’ but selecting items that add to yhor ‘Timeless Uniform Dressing.’ I don’t mean only large luxury labels to build this I mean everything from Zara, Amazon or the cute boutique pieces that have amazing quality.

Now the majority of my wardrobe is classic basics in black and gray but with lots of color (been teased a few times for my ‘grandma style’ ) but I’ve always believed in buying for forever not constant consumerism. As I mentioned earlier, I’m Latina and LOVE color. Currently, with all the uncertainty in the world in can seem a little overwhelming let alone like it’s even a good idea to shop. That’s why I was so happy to see that Pantone selected Peach Fuzz. Peach Fuzz is known as evoking warmth, comfort and safety. Currently I couldn’t agree more. It’s so true when you wear a color it can greatly affect yhor mood; remind us this is uncertainty is only temporary.

Here are my favorite ways to incorporate Pantone’s Color of the Year - through makeup, house accessories, accessories and clothing.

Now, I’ve never been overly girly with my accessories but hints of the peaches and pinks I can deal with. I don’t like peachy makeup personally so instead I will mix Yhorlife Essentials Cara Mia Balm with Mac’s Whisper lip liner to give that ‘peahchy nude lip’. I love this look because it’s great for any season and goes seamlessly from day-to-night.

I love curling up on my couch with a good book. Like any place you spend a good time looking at it can feel quite stale. I love adding blankets to my couch as it changes the mood and overall aesthetic without hurting my wallet. The best and coziest blanket in Color of the Year is from Amazon. It’s so plush and cozy and the nice peach hue will definitely make you feel calm.

One of my favorite ways to add a pop of color is through either sneakers or a sweatshirt that I can dress up or down. Adidas is always my go-to with sneakers and these Campus sneakers are the perfect edition to adding the Color of the Year but with style. Old Navy is hands down the best for sweatshirts for men and women. The Women’s Sweater is a nice Peach Fuzz that even if yhor lounging it will make you feel chipper. The Men’s Sweater is a little darker but still provides a nice subtle Peach Fuzz. The best part both are under $50!

Last but not least I love to buy a wallet of the Color of the Year (depending on if the meaning behind the color chosen speaks to me). Since the Color of the Year 2024 is Peach Fuzz and it’s alllll about security and feeling comfortable I feel like that’s a good color to hold money (I mean who doesn’t want the feeling of knowing yhor money will be okay). My favorite is Bottega Veneta Wallet because they have a lifetime guarantee and it’s so subtle in design.

I hope yhor as excited as I am to add a touch of Color of the Year 2024 into Yhorlife. Use the links to have fun and explore. Remember, you just need a touch not a total overhaul.

We can’t wait to see what yhor selection is for the Color of the Year 2024
