STYLE SPOTLIGHT: LEOPARD IS HERE TO STAY

The current trend is Leopard Print. I don't even feel right calling Leopard a "trend" because Leopard is iconic and synonymous with fearless. It has taken me a minute to actually like leopard in any form but now that I do I'm obsessed! Read on to find out my favorite items to add from investment to just testing out the leopard! Enjoy!

As I stated before Leopard is truly iconic. In 1947 Christian Dior waS the first designer to put a Leopard print on the catwalk and the late designer was quoted as saying “if you’re fair and sweet, don’t wear it!”

The bold explanation has stood the test of times. Leopard is associated with bold, fierce and unapologetically yourself without caring about what others think. It takes great courage and confidence to wear leopard and know how to wear it to fit your personality.

I’m naturally shy and was never a fan of the “loud print” but always admired how my Grandmothers and Mom wore leopard. A few years ago I started testing out the Leopard print to see if it even seamlessly went with my current wardrobe and complimented my personality. I was happy to find it did!

Now, if you’re not 100% convinced that Leopard will fit into your wardrobe or even want to invest immediately into the iconic look I’ve found the best ways to get started!

Shoes and scarves are my favorite way to test out any new trend or iconic print I am just starting to get into. Sam Edelman is my one of my FAVORITE shoe designers that is always current and reasonable. My favorite leopard shoes are the Mary Janes, Boots, and Slingbacks. All styles are sleek, timeless and can be worn at the office, running errands or just a night out!

AllSaints has a very cute scarf that is a very subtle hint of leopard. Alice & Olivia has a gorgeous and sexy blouse that is perfect for day or night!
