BE INSPIRED
They same that “imitation is the biggest form of flattery.” To be honest I never understood the quote nor appreciated being copied. I think we’ve become so ingrained in being like everyone else we’ve lost the magicalness of being ourselves. Being inspired is NOT the same as copying. It means what it says- inspiring you to figure out a style or design that works for you. Read on to find out how!
Let others inspire you to make better choices that can enhance yhor life, to have better health habits. To maybe change your hairstyle, or to try new looks in your wardrobe, or maybe to travel to a new country.
In the quest to improve ourselves we have to not loose ourselves. It is a must that you know who you are at your core, and embrace and love who you are.
Know what is your non-negotiable, and not to be lead by people and trends that are not aligned with who you are.
We must be firm and confident in who you are at your core - what makes you happy, comfortable, and uncomfortable. Basically, things that are not your personality; that if you did do, would make you feel uncomfortable. There is no better feeling in the world than to feel good in your skin.
That is knowing who you are at your core - and loving the essence of who you are. It is frightening how many people I hear labeling people as their idols, people that they do not know.
Perhaps they know them through a snip it on a social platform, of what they choose to show. I often think if you simply idolize people there is a thin line of loosing the essence of yourself, and who you are.
In the quest to improve, you still have to know what works for you; and what simply does not. So, it is really taking what works for you - your way of life; your values; culture; personality , and what feels comfortable and leaving what is truly not you.
People depict glamorous lifestyles, or simply their lives. Before you get carried away with their dream of this perfect, enviable existence take a moment and come back to you, and analyze what works for you.
We can admire someone’s lifestyle yet leave it at that, and not compare your life, and accomplishments to someone else’s.
So, allow people’s accomplishments to inspire you to reach for more if it feels right for you.
The key is giving the attention to you and yhor life, and building that life that fits your personality, values and morals.
Of course strive to improve those areas that you want to, and take the time to simply enjoy you and how you have grown. An important element to our growth is recognizing that you are worthy.
