How would you introduce yourself to people who are unaware of you?

I am half Kuwaiti and half Palestinian Entrepreneur and social media influencer. I have grown up in Kuwait but I have lived around the globe like Los Angeles, London for my studies and now in Dubai, where I moved in 2019.

I have studied Law at university in London which is my passion, and I am planning on going back to continue my Master’s degree soon. I have a following of over 9 Million across my social media pages, and feel like I have found my passion also with connecting with brands and being an actual influencer. I have also been blessed to be a mom to a one year old baby. I love my work and enjoy every bit of creating wonderful things with amazing brands and people.

What drives you?

Being grateful for how far I have come, all the challenges that I have overcome and my biggest blessing, Luna.

Like everything in life, there are always two sides to a story. How a person perceives it depends on how they are and how they react to information. Social media allows me to share my lifestyle, it is my work, and I have been fortunate to work with amazing brands, grow my own brand and step into the world of entrepreneurship. I am lucky to get the love and adoration of several like-minded women and girls from around the globe. However the downside is the same too. I have opened my life and work to so many people, not everyone is out there to support you and cheer for you. Some are not going to like you and that is okay. I learnt early on how to take criticism and how to not let myself get affected as sometimes, people can get very negative. I focus on the love I get, the respect I’ve earned and the brands that continue to trust in my work. I think being grateful is above all for me, tough times come and they come around for everyone. We just have to keep pushing.

You have a degree & your business is about empowering women to curate a style that not only speaks to them but helps them achieve what they want. When did you decide to blend your degree and empowering women?

My degree is my love for Law and for educating people and raising awareness about the Law. I always knew I wanted to pursue it. My social media exists because my passion is also bettering, growing with people and doing my best for those around me, even if it is changing or impacting one mindset.

My purpose is to break the stereotype and inspire more young girls like me who has dreams and who want to express themselves. I think that my social media exists for a reason. I want to send out a message to all the women in the world that you are beautiful as you are. Don’t try to be a copy of another women. God created us all differently and that’s why we are beautiful.  We are beautiful because we are different than one another. If we will be copies of each other, you will never be someone else and you will never be yourself. So, you are beautiful because you are you, because you are unique, not like any other. And beauty comes in all sizes, all shapes and all colors. So, be confident, cheer up, you are beautiful the way you are. Don’t let the society that you live in, don’t let them set a certain standard of beauty, that’s not healthy.

What are the 5 best personal investments a woman can make in their wardrobe? And why?

For me essentials that a woman must have in her wardrobe are a leather jacket, a little black dress, and a comfy pair of sneakers. I also think you should invest in a good bag, something classic that would last your style and not just mere trends. And of course the most important part of your style, is your boss style, a nice fitted blazer is no match for anything else, ladies!

What advice would you give to your younger self and why?

I would tell younger Rawan (although I'm still young!) to be more realistic, to leave emotions on the side; to be less emotional and to be more rational, use her brain more :).

Last Question! What are your favorite face and hair products? And why?

I am minimal person and believe in less being more. Because every person and every skin is different, I think there is a no size fits all approach.

I do invest in good quality products. For more hair, recently I started using a shower filter and it was something that showed results but more importantly I felt the lightness in my hair.
