On your site you say that you help people to break down the walls. So, tell me how you shifted your focus from an Award Winning Journalist to a Certified Healer…

It was a real interesting journey, a very slow one, then it picked up speed this year (2022). I was talking yesterday to my friend who is a Beta Astrologer, and he was saying that it was all in my cards that this year you would go from that to this.

I was a journalist, award winning, and you can see the Emmy’s in the background. Oh yes, I love that nice subtlety, it is like I don’t have to say anything…my background speaks for itself. Aahahaa, well your background is pretty amazing too. Yes, well I just stole this from my parents.

Yes, I always joke … stay humble but still let them know. My background was journalism and traveling the world and telling stories for a mainstream network. In my personal life I was this spiritual hippie. I remember one time I was going to interview Hilary Clinton when she was running for President. I had crystals in my pocket. Oh yes! I always have my crystals with me. That is so good. I have now moved way beyond crystals now it has been like five years since I have used them, but at the time I had them in my pocket, and the secret service didn’t know what they were. He made me leave them out before I could go inside to interview her. I remember they were calling them ‘special rocks’ in their walkie talkies…ahahahaa.

The funny thing is that that was always a part of my life, and then little by little I could not ignore it anymore. I also had a YouTube Channel, and I was telling the stories that I could not tell on television. That channel got forty million views, and did well, and it was all about spirituality. Then I stopped posting there, and created Modern Nirvana with my two best friends, Kat and Brian.

That is where we have our annual conference, and last year we gave an award to Deepak Chopra, and Dave Asprey was our keynote speaker. This year we have it again in September in Austin, Texas. It is an incredible event with enlightened people, and with cool vendors. I also get to try out cool things, like right now I am trying this cool product for the skin that I am loving. It is SkinIV.

There are going to be vendors at the event, well It is Micro Biolabs, that is the company that they work with, and they will be vendors at the conference. It is all probiotics for the skin.

Is it like a serum… Yes, kind of but they call it that. It is some kind of watery blend, like an oil. Do you see the results, does it instantly boost you… because I am a skin junkie. Yeah, yeah me too… I was a skin care junkie for years. Like the whole Korean skin care eight step process. Yes! me to like the snails, everything that is new. I will try anything.

Oh my gosh me too, we will get along really well. Yes, seriously anything that will keep you young, tight, and upright I will try. Ahahaha, yes young tight and right…exactly. What I am learning is that micro-biome is so important for our skin too. So, I spent eight days rafting down the Grand Canyon with my friends. It was the most amazing experience going down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. What I realized is that since I could not take my whole skin care routine. You could take like two to three things, so I took my face wash, moisturizer, and sunscreen. So, what I realized is my skin thrived, and it was such being in nature, being in the sun, eating healthy foods, being in the dirt.

So, what I realized is that micro-biome is important for health, and not just taking it internally. I have been taking probiotics, and I have noticed a huge difference. more than any serum.

Now I am using this product from SkinIV and they used this certain strand of a germ that we needs, and feed off of. We used to be in our indigenous days in the sand.

Yes, that is where we glowed, we have colonized everything, and we have lost that - back to the roots. I go to Latin America a lot and my skin just glows. It is from the fresh fruits to the air my skin is thrives, and glows. You just do not have to worry about anything. Where do you go? Before I would go to Venezuela, I am Venezuelan, but now I go to Mexico. I did an Ayahuasca Ceremony in March… Oh really where? It was a special thing at the W. Woaw! At the W Hotel!?!

I have had like eighteen ceremonies, my most powerful one was in Mexico. I am taking my mom in July to experience it in Costa Rica. I am excited to take her and support her. It is better to do it alone.

I believe the most powerful thing that I have learned in this journey, is that this moment is inevitable. Not the one that just passed, but this moment. We can shape our future, but this moment right here is inevitable, it is this way, and it can no other way so be accepting of it. In many ways we are in control, but then we are not.

How did the Modern Nirvana come to be, and what do you love about the conference and bringing people together….

Well, the conference is really cool, you can go to ModernNirvana.com we have some amazing guests that we honor. Beyond that we have live energetic healings on stage. We have vendors and exhibitors. We have infrared companies, and meditation companies. We have incredible vendors, supplements, and skin care. Beyond that it is a community that is interested in health and skin care. How do you accept new clients, what do you love the most, the transition in people, and how do you bring down the wall…

It is incredible. People will come to me for weight-loss, or they’re depressed, or that they want to be in a relationship, and they have blocks. We all have blocks around certain things in our lives. The messages that I get post sessions is that they have never felt this light in their life, this clear and decisive.

You have so many things going on, from your clients to Modern Nirvana, and the launching of your Oracle Deck of cards…how do you find time for Frank and balance everything…

Honestly, this year is all about growth for me. This year I have been in a different country every month. Our Oracle Deck who we are doing with Chronicle Books comes out in October. Everyone that comes to the conference in September will get a free Oracle Deck. It will be at Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Barnes and Noble. So, it is all amazing. People are taking their power back, and trusting their intuition.
